Time to Say Goodbye to My University's Life

 

As a senior in the university,I really find that time flies so fast.There were four years I have spent in my university with my dear friends and my excellent professors.Summer is a time which is too perfect to say goodbye.

 I still can remember one day in first summer of my university’s life.I laid with my best friend on the green grass which is under the oldest tree in our campus,and we watch the sky which is so bright and blue like our future.We knew nothing about our future but enjoy every moment we owned.

 I still can remember one day in the second winner of my university’s life.Facing so many tests about my major,I went to our library everyday with my friends.The weather was so cold,but our minds of study were stronger than the cold wind in Yantai’ winter.It was the coldest winter in Yantai,but it was the most good results I have gained that time.

 There is a famous saying in China,”When swallow went to South in the winter,they would be back in the next spring;when the willow died in the autumn,they would come alive in the next summer;but why my youth can not return to me anymore? ”

  Anyway,time to say goodbye to my university’s life. 

WHAT WILL I DO？

  As a senior in university,there are so many people who are my parents,friends and relatives asked me this question.Would you be an employee or a postgraduate students?I never think about this before they asked me.In some degree,I am a person who just live on this moment,I never consider what would happen on the next moment.There is a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty as following:

Let us eat and drink；Enjoy while one can；Today's wine I drink today；Today we have wine so today we celebrate.And that is exactly my life.

  But I can not live like this any more,not only because I can not be young forever,but also it is a time to decide my future.Dream is too new in my dictionary.Happiness is all I want to have.The book said dream can make you have happiness.But we all know that no pains, no gains.The dream is too heavy to have,I do not want to taste the sour.What is the worst,I feel very disappointed,when I fail on something.And I do not dare to try it for afraid of being hurt again.T

    To difficulties,I do everything but overcome. And it is hard to believe,I have lived like this for 21 years.So maybe it is time to refresh myself.

   Recently,I really have a crush on Cornell University,so my next plan for my future is doing everything I can do to get enrolled by this University no matter how hard it is.Just like the movie THE CROODS said Don’t hide.Run！You will make it tomorrow！ 

Dream Concert

 

    Last Saturday,My friends and I went to the dream concert which was hold at Seoul's World Cup Stadium.As Korean pop music becoming very popular nowadays,dream concert always is a big event to the music lovers all around the world.What is more,the concert was a party for thousands of fans and lots of  the hottest artists in the Korean music industry.

  This year's concert took three hours, the MCs for this concert are Goo Hara from the popular girl group KARA, Onew of idol group SHINEE, and BEAST's own Yoon Du-jun. The stars led the audience through the performance schedule that saw nearly two dozen K-Pop acts take the stage.They are Girls’ Generation, SHINee, Infinite, Kara, B2st, T-ara, Sistar, 2AM, 4minute, Secret, U-Kiss, ZE:A, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girls Day, Speed, BTOB, EvoL and VIXX. 

  Actually,I love music and dance.So I am a fan of Korean pop music.I enjoy the K-pop,because its singing and rap, while giving perfect performances and visuals at the same time.It is a mix of genres like pop, roch,hip hop, R&B and electronic music.In some degree,it can be described as a globalized music; as it is a mixture of Western and European sounds with an Asian flavor of performance which is not too sexy or too wild and be accepted by the fans of worldwide. The way these Korean singers perform their songs with synchronized dance moves and complex gestures has increased the popularity like Rolling Stone author said.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Today,I want to share with you a book named The Five People You Meet in Heaven.It is a best-selling novel by Mitch Albom.It was published in 2003 by Hyperion and remained on the New York Times Best Seller List for 95 weeks.I bought it maybe 2 years ago,but at that time,I were busy with traveling and exams,so I just put it there to collect dirts.T T

 

 But now,you can see summer is coming again.There is nothing better than reading books during summer days with cups of ice caramel macchiato.So I tried to find and started reading this books three days ago.

  

  To my surprised,I finished it just in three mornings. It tells a story about Eddie from his living to death.During his living,Eddie is so normal that you might never take a look to this kind of people.But his death save a little girl from a falling amusement park ride.As he is so kind that sent  to heaven, where he encounters five people who significantly impacted him while he was alive. 

 It uses five not too long stories to tell us that during a short life like us own,we meet so many people,built all kinds of relationships, then we have many kinds of connections.So all we can do is trying our best to treat everyone we meet by heart.What’s more, "Things we do affect others, even when we think nothing we do matters…it has really helped me to open my eyes... or maybe to stop trying to see just with my eyes so much and just close them and see what really matters... " As Mitch Albom said in this book.

Last but not least,when everything that seems so meaningless or so unconnected,we can make it become connected,because it really connected in a way we can not see clearly..

　　 Relationships are NOT even "give and take";  

     Relationships ARE "give and accept". Give all the things we can give to others with a kind heart,then accept all the things others give to us with a tolerant heart.Life has an end,but love never.

Why There Is no Vocation On International Labor Day In Korea？

             

Today is International Labor Day!In China,it means a three-day vocation.All my friends in China are going to travel some places to enjoy and have a rest,but only me need to study and even have classes tomorrow!What’s more,I even have to prepare my mid-term exams on this week!I am so dispirited that there is no vocation on International Labor Day in Korea!

               

    So I will share some information about today and hope someday there is a vocation on May 1.International Labor Day which is also known as May Day is a celebration of the international labor movement.May 1 is a national holiday in more than 80 countries and celebrated unofficially in many countries.  

                             

  International Labor Day is the commemoration of the 1886 in Chicago.The police were trying to disperse a public assembly during a general strike for the eight-hour-workday, when an unidentified person threw a bomb at them. The police reacted by firing on the workers, killing four demonstrators. "Reliable witnesses testified that all the pistol flashes came from the center of the street, where the police were standing, and none from the crowd. Moreover, initial newspaper reports made no mention of firing by civilians. A telegraph pole at the scene was filled with bullet holes, all coming from the direction of the police.

                              

  May Day was formally recognized as an annual event at the International's second congress in 1891.The congress made it "mandatory upon the proletarian organizations of all countries to stop work on May 1, wherever it is possible without injury to the workers."

                               

  In many countries, the working class sought to make May Day an official holiday, and their efforts largely succeeded. May Day has been an important official holiday in countries such as the People Republic of China, North Korea,Cuba and the former Soviet Union.May Day celebrations typically feature elaborate popular and military parades in these countries.

       

  Although I am not a working class now,maybe you are not,but we still have a right to have a vocation and good rest.

My Days on Asian Beach Games

  What a rainy day!I do not like the rainy day,because it just keeps me stay at home.I have nothing to do for the moment.But when I open the window to see the rain,suddenly I remember the 20 days I experienced with my best friends in Haiyang,Shangdong.Because it started on a rainy day,too.What’s more,that day rained dogs and cats,and heavy enough to let anyone remember for the whole life.

  Firstly,I want to give you some information about this Games.The Asian Beach Games (ABG) is a multi-sport event to be held every two years among athletes representing countries from Asia. The games are regulated by the Olympic Council of Asia.The first games was held in 2008 in Bali,Indonesia.And I were a volunteer as an interpreter in that Games.I were so lucky,not only because it was a big event,but also I could be free from universities for about 20 days,haha...

  When I arrived there,I was so shocked.Because the house we lived was

 a huge room shared by 8 people.That was a quite”family”.Making new friends is always a good thing!After introduction,we got known to each other soon.

  At that night,the duties had been distributed.I was an interpreter for the Beach Soccer.Actually,I do not like soccer.In my view,it really takes long time,and the result often is 0:0.In addition,the times for those big events are not the people like me who keep early hours.

              
  But when I really started my interpreter life in the Beach Soccer,I find it was really charming,not only the players themselves,but also the game itself.

               

Auld Lang Syne

 

“OMG?! How do you know that i am back to Yantai today?”I hugged my lovey friends and asked.”Actually,we checked your information with all kinds of air company.You must pay for it. ”They laughed,I had nothing to say but burst into tears.

  We used to eat together,study together and hang out together.Though sharing one room,we became best friends;though internet,we keep being best friends,but we have not see each other for one year,i am so afraid we can not best friends anymore.You know,time can change evering.

  But,“Fang.,you need to have good sleep,so today you sleep in my bed and I would sleep in other place.”I could not agree this kind of help,but I were so tired.When we went back to our room,I can not help but sleep there.When I woke up,the sky was dark and the room was empty.”Where are these guys? ”I asked but no one could answer.

  When I thought whether I should go out to find them or not,they just pulled the door and came in.”Huh,finally you open your eyes?!Let’s eat together.We bought your favorite dishes! ”Cao said.”Em,I can feel it~”Favorite dishes just drive me crazy every time.

  So we still eat together,study together and hang out together.Time may change everything,but our friendship never fade as that old song:

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And auld lang syne?

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,

Love

  

  When the moment i saw my dear parents in the airport,I was so surprised to feel that they did not looked young any more.As was a child.they were so perfect and young enough in my mind.During the way they drove me home,i saw some white hair hiding under the black unexpected.But all they fucus is me,so they just kept asking what I wanna eat,how about my exam and so on.

  

 

   This made me think some love i do not know how to cherish is from my parents.I born to have it,to used to it and enjoy it.Before i came to Korea,talk with them easily.We always have good time,but sometimes,we even have time to turn good into bad.When i am in bad times with them,even wonder that whether they love me or not. Huh,it seems childish and funny.But now,we do not have more time to communicate with each other.I am so busy with my study,while they are busier than me with their business.But now i believe they love me deeply without any doubt.I am coming to know how hard to live a life,because everything they have given me is so easy,but earning a life by myself is too hard.These are the words when i was young my parents told me you can not understand us until you grow up.

  Growing up is not a happy thing.You have to experience so many things you want to or not.But the gift from growing up can help you to understand and cherish more important things.

Live in a happy pattern ^ ^

  Have you ever seen this scene that somebody who with a pair of earphone on his or her ears,eyes looked as cool as frozen water,then walk so fast and seem do not care about anybody？Actually i see many scenes like this no matter on the way to universities,taking subway or waiting on the airport,just do not like to see a star that hard.Sometimes,it is so normal that just like we can see the sun in every morning.

  I feel confused at first.I do not know why they just look like unhappy who maybe already have  nice lives in material but they can not cheer others up even themselves.It is not a good thing.But when i prepare for my coming exam that so important and i only get one chance,I know what happened.That is pressure and tired.I can still talk with friends and parents with a high mood,but on the other hand,when I am alone,I can not be so happy anymore,though I have a nice life and a healthy body all that can let me do whatever I want to do freely in some degree. Because I am worried my exam.I keep doing exercise everyday,but there is not any help in releasing my stress. And this really keep me feeling tired.

  But yesterday,one of my friends said she envies my life. What a big surprise！She said now she is having hard time with her boyfriends,but she has nobody to tell.It is cruel but true.

  From this, we can know that everybody live in a hard life which can not be decided by their willing,but we can be up on our minds. You believe you are happy,then you will not be sad.Sounds stupid but works.
